CoSA Ottawa’s 2021 Fundraising Initiatives!

This year, we are participating in the Virtual Ottawa Scotiabank Charity Challenge Race event. Our small but mighty team has raised  $3,550 so far! A big thank you to everyone who has donated, but it’s not over yet! Our runners (and walkers) have until May 30th to complete their race, which is taking place in each participant’s community. And you have until May 31st to donate. Please donate if you can. Every donation of $5 or more will receive a tax receipt.

If you want to support a specific runner, you can donate directly to them (click on the team link which will take you to each team member) or you can donate to the general CoSA race team. Just visit

Your donation will help CoSA to continue operating in Ottawa, helping to prevent more victims and create safer communities!

Thank you to our donors and to our runners!

We’d also like to thank Scotiabank and the organizers, in particular Al McCartney, for putting on such a great event and being so supportive of our local charities.

Thank you to all those who came out to our 3rd fundraising Gala – it was a huge success! We could not have done it without our volunteers, supporters, and friends. A special thank you to Wilma Derksen (keynote speaker), Steve Sullivan (emcee), Pierre Allard (Grace), and Dru Allen (auctioneer). Thank you to all those who donated items to our Live Auction and Mystery Gifts, without you we would not have been able to reach our fundraising goal! To view the pictures, click here. If you would like a photo removed, please contact us and we will do so immediately.

We’d love to hear any feedback the evening’s attendees, let us know what went well, what could be improved upon and any changes we can consider for the next Gala in 2020! Feel free to contact us at
