Why Funding Matters Now
Our work cannot continue without community support
CoSA Ottawa has been building safer communities for more than two decades. Today, the need for our work remains strong, but sustainable funding is increasingly difficult to secure.
Government and foundation funding can be short-term or restricted, while the needs of our Core Members and Circles continue throughout the year. As existing funding comes to an end, community donations are essential to maintaining the stability and quality of our programs.
Our annual operating budget supports the people and resources needed to keep Circles active, train and support volunteers, provide practical assistance to Core Members and ensure that our program continues to meet the highest standards.

CoSA Ottawa is a small organization with a significant community impact. We rely on a combination of grants, donations, fundraising and community partnerships to sustain our work.
When funding is uncertain, our ability to plan, maintain services and respond to emerging needs is also affected.

Donate a Car Canada accepts vehicle donations for Circles of Support and Accountability-Ottawa. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to CoSA Ottawa through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Our donations are managed by Zeffy, a platform that is 100% free to non-profit organizations, so we receive 100% of your donation. Feel free to review the voluntary option to contribute to Zeffy which allows them to continue this free service to struggling charities.
