Directors are nominated (by self or others) and voted into position at Annual General Meetings, however according to CoSA-Ottawa By-Law, a member can be appointed between AGMs to fill a vacancy or if there is a need for the person’s expertise, and ratified at the next AGM. Directors can remain on the Board for a term of two years, renewable twice, for a total of six years.
All members of the Board must be a Member of CoSA-Ottawa.
